On 12th May 2008, ASA, in association with the British Council and
Portsmouth F.C., sent 18 elite Muhammadiyah students to Portsmouth and
London (UK) to celebrate the "Pompey Double Club Indonesia" inter-cultural
schools linkage project. Accompanied by Head Coach & Technical Project Manager, Benny Christian, the children participated in an intensive 8 day
education through sports activities program which included Portsmouth
schools "Pompey Double Club" workshops, football and volleyball matches,
Portsmouth F.C. team training sessions before travelling to Fratton Park
and Wembley to watch the FA Cup Final!
